Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I place my order?

Orders are accepted based on availability. Rush orders may be accepted when scheduling allows, but are not guaranteed. If accepted, rush orders may incur an additional fee based on the items requested, design complexity, quantity, and the time available for production.

Can I text my order request or send pictures by text?

No. Please do not text order requests, design changes, or inspiration photos. All order details and reference images must be submitted through the inquiry form or by email only. Text messaging is reserved for limited day-of communication only, if needed.

What are your pick-up hours?

Pick-Up Windows: Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM–7:30 PM | Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. A 15-minute grace period is allowed for pick-up. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may incur a $15 late pick-up fee and may require a new pickup window based on availability.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, delivery may be available depending on scheduling and location. Delivery must be requested in advance and is not guaranteed until confirmed. Delivery pricing is based on location. Deliveries requested after 12:00 PM are considered after-hours deliveries and start at an additional $25 fee.

Do you recreate designs exactly from Pinterest or another baker?

No. Inspiration photos are accepted for inspiration only. Cara Bella Creations by Shauna does not duplicate another artist’s work or create exact replicas. All custom work is created in our own style while honoring your requested theme and details.

What if I need to reschedule due to an emergency or unforeseen event?

If you need to postpone due to an unforeseen circumstance outside of your control, you have up to 30 days from the original event date to request a rebooking without a rebooking fee, subject to availability.


  • Rebook requests made after 30 days may require a 15% rebooking fee (minimum $25)

  • Rebooked events requested less than 30 days before the new event date may also be subject to a rush fee

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my order?

All custom order payments are non-refundable. If you need to cancel or postpone, rebooking is subject to availability.


  • Standard rebooking requests should be submitted with at least 2–3 weeks’ notice

  • Rebooking requests made with less than 2 weeks’ notice require a 25% rebooking fee, due immediately

  • If the new event date falls within a rush timeframe, a rush fee may also apply
